The NEWS column is used to display a patient's National Early Warning Score:
Updating the NEWS (National Early Warning Score) Column
Click in the NEWS cell of the patient whose National Early Warning Score you are wishing to update, to display the National Early Warning Scores dialogue box. Enter the patient's National Early Warning Score into the box provided:
Make sure to 
and the National Early Warning Score will be updated in
the Ward Patient List.
